The Indian chapter of the World Human Rights Protection Commission (WHRPC) has honoured Human Rights & Social Activist couple Shri Surendra Singh and Shrimati Renu Singh, the coveted Doctorate in Social Service (Honoris Causa) as well as the honorary International membership in the organization. It is to be noted that, the Singh couple has been engaged in social service for last 15 years through Dr RCP Singh Trust which provides free medical treatment to needy and destitute.
In last 15 years through this organisation Dr Surendra Singh and Dr Renu Singh have provided free medical treatment to more than 12 lakh needy people. This trust runs hospitals in Chandigarh, Jammu, Dhaka (Bangladesh) and Nepalganj (Nepal).
The programme was held in the India International Centre in Delhi where many noted personalities as His Excellency Austin Fernando, the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka, Richardo Verna, the Deputy Chief of Panama, Mississippi, Mathapelo, High Commissioner of South Africa were present.
